L'attrice è nata il 26 maggio 1969 a Duban nel sud Africa figlia di un'insegnante di danza ha debuttato all'età di 4 anni come ballerina diventando poi a sua volta un'insegnante di danza. Dopo aver studiato comunicazione e psicologia ha lavorato come presentatrice per MTV. Ha partecipato a più di 20 famosi video musicali con Tina Turner, Elton John e Chris Isaak. E' sposata con Jeff Celentano anche lui attore.
